I became a therapist in part because of the transformative impact therapy had on my own life. As an adoptee, I have navigated questions of identity and belonging, culture, family complexity, and grief, and this lived experience fuels my passion for walking alongside others in their own journeys of healing.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University, where I was also active in psychological research on personality and stress adjustment. My experience is across a number of settings, including college counseling, inpatient, and nonprofit agencies.
As your therapist, my role is to be a collaborator, bringing compassion, curiosity, and new perspectives to support you in meeting your goals and living in alignment with what matters most to you. When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me playing my violin, hiking, and spending time with my loved ones.
I provide virtual and in-person therapy out of Midtown Psychotherapy Associates under the clinical supervision of Jessie Alexander, LPC, CPCS, and the direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT. Our beautiful office is located at 199 Armour Dr NE UNIT E, Atlanta, GA 30324.

I provide therapy for those navigating adoption and family complexity, estrangement, disability and chronic illness, and grief. Many of my clients come to therapy with difficulties in their relationships, symptoms of anxiety, depression, or PTSD, substance use, or confusion concerning their identity or sense of purpose. I enjoy exploring the deeper roots of these manifestations with my clients, cultivating flexibility and awareness in order to support you in making changes.
My approach is grounded in existential and humanistic principles, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Narrative Exposure Therapy. I strive to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care that honors the unique experiences, identities, and values each client brings into the therapy room. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and so I tailor your experience to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and meaningful.
Fees
My typical fees are $165 for individual 60-minute therapy sessions. I do not file with insurance directly, but can provide superbills for out-of-network insurance benefits. I retain a small number of sliding scale slots for low-cost therapy. If therapy presents a financial hardship for you, I would be happy to discuss these options.
